We are currently looking for a Customer & Operation Specialists

Full-time position (40 hours/week)

The Customers and Operations Specialist (COS) chairs the Country Response Team meeting and Supply Chain portfolio meeting to plan and deliver Vector Control products for malaria campaigns. COS coordinates with the Principal Recipient (PR), supply chain partners, and IDA departments to manage quotations, orders, and deliveries.

The COS provides excellent service and clear, proactive communication to the Global Fund (GF) and the PR, following IDA and GF guidelines. Main responsibilities includes full ownership of the quotation and order process from start to finish, working closely with purchasing supply chain, QA, freight forwarders, the GF and the PR to ensure on-time, complete delivery.

COS maintain accurate master data and handle complaints and manages the budget. With strong knowledge of the country context, malaria seasonality, and vector control products, COS offers customer-focused, solution-oriented support. Responsibilities include also identifying customer needs, recommending the best options, and taking full ownership of any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum level is Bachelor degree

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in sales support in an international environment

  • Experience with supply chain is preferred

  • Affinity with Lower middle-income countries (LMIC) and Public Health is a pre

  • Flexible and positive attitude, ability to meet the changing requirements of the donor/contractor

  • Highly accurate, with attention to detail and quality

  • Analytical skills & Business sense

  • ERP-skills

    Fluent Language skills (written and spoken):
    English + French language

  • Result oriented, willingness to operate in a challenging environment

  • Solid understanding of business processes, preferably in an international Supply Chain environment

  • Solid analytical and critical decision-making skills

  • Strong planning and organization skills

  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and problem resolution

  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively at all levels (both internal and external)
